Did you know our Monaco Bag is a global bestseller and international travel guru?

It’s World Tourism Day! 🕍

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing our Monaco become a renowned world traveler and let’s just say the wanderlust bug bit close to home this year. Just a few weeks ago, our founder Arpi took a much needed family vacation in Europe—and of course, she brought her favorite travel companion with her!

Yep—you guessed it! Arpi kept her Monaco Bag by her side throughout her entire escapade! Arpi’s Euro trip included a visit to Barcelona with family in Spain and adventure seeking with her husband at all the popular tourist spots in Barcelona, Venice and Rome— Italy, and Paris-France.

VENICE

While in Venice, Arpi and her husband Vahan indulged in Italian delicacies at Caffe Florian – described by Arpi as “one of the oldest and cutest cafes” Located in Plaza San Marco, this darling dining spot also has small gifts and souvenirs! And of course, the Gondola rides were a definite highlight of their time in Venice! (photo collage of all 3 venice photos)

PARIS

If Arpi had only one word to describe Paris, it would be WOW! Her and her husband indulged in a romantic stay at the Hotel Pullman for a few days, enjoying the hotel’s infamous and breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. While in France, the pair made time to visit the Louver but passed on the up-close viewing of the Mona Lisa due to the long three hour wait. Arpi recommends Bateaux Mouches for the best French Food and Saint Honoré street for souvenir shopping while touring the beautiful city.

ROME

Guilty pleasure admission from Arpi. When in Rome, Arpi was OBSESSED with Caprese salads and ordered this local favorite in every single restaurant during her stay. The combo of crisp, fresh basil, juicy garden tomatoes, farm-to-table mozzarella, and local balsamic and olive oils were TO DIE FOR! Favorite tourist spot was Fontana di Piazza in Trastevere, Santa Maria—a nightlife atmosphere with a young, energetic crowd and lots of activity. Arpi also made sure to visit the Colosseum, which she describes as a curious phenomenon like you are taking a journey into the past as you feel the depth of the monument’s history. She highly recommends booking guides for visiting historical sites for the educational aspect and also encourages a trip to Plaza Piazza Navona for restaurants and shopping!
